Uttarsuri Publication is an academic publishing initiative based in Sribhumi (Karimganj), Assam, India, committed to advancing scholarly research and knowledge dissemination. Registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, Uttarsuri Publication strives to create a dynamic platform for academicians, researchers, and emerging scholars.
Our primary objective is to publish high-quality books, peer-reviewed journals, and conference proceedings that contribute meaningfully to the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences. We actively promote research culture, encourage intellectual exchange, and support the growth of academic scholarship in both Bengali and English.
Uttarsuri Publication is associated with two peer-reviewed journals: ATMADEEP (an international Bengali journal) and Novel Insights (a multidisciplinary English journal). These publications follow standard academic practices, including a rigorous peer-review process, DOI assignment, recognized citation styles (APA/MLA), and strict anti-plagiarism policies, ensuring integrity and quality in all published works.
Beyond publishing, we organize academic conferences, seminars, and collaborative research initiatives, providing a vibrant space for dialogue and innovation. Uttarsuri Publication was established as part of the broader vision of the Uttarsuri Society, a registered organization committed to promoting education, research, and social development in Sribhumi (Karimganj), Assam. Recognizing the growing need for accessible and credible academic publishing platforms—particularly in the North-East region of India—the initiative was founded to support scholars, researchers, and academicians in disseminating their work.
In its early phase, Uttarsuri Publication focused on creating opportunities for regional scholars, especially those working in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences, to publish their research in both Bengali and English. With this aim, it launched its flagship peer-reviewed journals, including ATMADEEP and Novel Insights, which quickly became platforms for interdisciplinary academic exchange.
Over time, the publication expanded its activities to include the release of edited volumes, research books, and conference proceedings, alongside organizing seminars and academic events. Emphasizing quality, transparency, and ethical publishing practices, Uttarsuri Publication adopted standard academic protocols such as peer review, DOI assignment, and plagiarism screening.
Today, Uttarsuri Publication continues to grow as a regionally rooted yet academically active publishing platform, contributing to the strengthening of the research culture in North-East India while engaging with a wider national and international scholarly community.
